Bifurcation

Bifurcation is a project that seeks to understand Gaudi’s methodologies of column making and rethink them using computational design. The goal was to design a branching system that could seamlessly bifurcate one column into several branches. Through computational modelling and physical production, we were able to test custom profiles and create three column prototypes.
